CANDIDATE INFORMATION GUIDE:
The Vermont statutes directs our office to publish a Candidate Information Guide including photographs and position statements written by each candidate for all federal and statewide offices. This Candidate Information Guide was included as an insert in the following newspapers: Addison Independent, Burlington Free Press, Caledonian Record, County Courier, Newport Daily Express, St. Albans Messenger, Rutland Herald, Times Argus, and the Vermont Standard before November 1, 2012. The Guide was also distirbuted throughout southern Vermont by Elections Division staff and was posted online at various websites in the two weeks preceeding the election.
2012 General Election Audit of Optical Scanners - RESULTS
The audit was performed Thursday, November 29th at 9:00 a.m. at Noble Hall Lounge at the Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier. Results from the following towns were audited: Barre Town, Brandon, Essex (Chittenden 8-1), and Newfane.
