          DENNIS J. DEVEREUX           


DENNIS J. DEVEREUX of Mount Holly, Rutland County, Republican, was born on March 10, 1951, in Rutland, Vermont, and is a descendant of the first male child born in Jackson’s Gore in 1783 and has been a lifelong resident. He has two grown sons, and recently retired after a 33 year career in the Ludlow-Rutland GE operation. He was educated at the GE Apprentice Program, Rutland, VT (State Certificate, 1980); Johnson State College, Johnson, VT (B.S., 1986). Served town as JP and on Planning Commission; Past President of Mount Holly Historical Society and the Crown Point Road Association. Member: Vermont Historical Society; Black River Academy Museum; Mount Holly Community Association; Colfax Lodge #21. Member of the House: 2007-2008, 2009-2010. Home Phone: 259-2460.
