MEGAN M. SMITH
of Mendon, Rutland County, Democrat, was born on June 21, 1955, in Greencastle, Indiana, and became a resident of present town in 1995. Occupation: VTSBDC Small Business Advisor and adjunct professor at Green Mountain College and CCV. Currently Megan is serving on the board of The Mentor Connector and Dimensions of Marble. She was educated at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL (B.S., 1977). She is married to Gregory Hoisington Smith and they have two daughters. Formerly the owner of the Vermont Inn where she served on the “Country Inns and Bed & Breakfast Council;” Advisory Board of the hospitality management program at Stafford Technical School; and served 2 terms as president of the Killington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
