PATSY FRENCH of Randolph, Orange County, Democrat, was born in Randolph, Vermont, on August 22, 1949; grew up in Royalton, Vermont; and has been a resident of Randolph since 1978. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 1972 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She was formerly an elementary school classroom teacher and Chapter I reading and math tutor and is now co-owner/manager of rental property. She is married to Patrick French and they have two sons. She is a member of the Central Vermont Council on Aging Advisory Council, a board member of the Northeastern Vermont Area Health Education Center and she volunteers for several Randolph organizations.
