WILLIAM R. FRANK of Underhill, Chittenden County, Democrat was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating from Central Michigan University with a BS and MS in Mathematics and serving in the Army Bill moved to Vermont to begin a career with IBM in Essex Junction. Retiring after 30 years of service Bill formed a consulting and computer programming company specializing in controlling the flow of products through a manufacturing line. Bill and Bev met in college and married in 1971. In 1977 they moved to Underhill and their current home; they have one grown daughter who works and lives in Boston. They are active members of the United Church of Underhill. Bill served on the Underhill ID Elementary and Chittenden East Supervisory Union school boards for 15 years. Currently Bill serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Essex Meals On Wheels, the Board of Trustees of Pine Ridge School in Williston, the Tobacco Evaluation Review Board and the Building Bright Futures State Council. Bill has served on the Human Services Committee in the 2005-06, 2007-08 and 2009-10 sessions. CHITTENDEN-8 GEORGE W. TILL GEORGE W. TILL of Jericho, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on November 7, 1952. He graduated from Haverford College, Haverford Pennsylvania in 1974. After college, George worked as a social worker at the Philadelphia County Department of Public Assistance and at Haverford State Psychiatric Hospital. He did post baccalaureate work at Boston University and Harvard University and graduated from The University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1981. George completed residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California San Francisco in 1985. From 1985 to 1988 he served in the National Health Service Corps in St. Louis, Missouri. Since 1988 George has been a physician in private practice at Champlain Obstetrics and Gynecology in Essex Junction, Vermont. He is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Vermont School of Medicine. George is vice-chair of the Mount Mansfield Union School Board, Finance Committee chair, and vice-chair of the Chittenden East Supervisory Union Executive Committee. George founded and for 12 years coached The Mt Mansfield Youth Lacrosse Club. George married Ann Buchanan-Till in 1984. Their son Brian currently works in Washington, D.C.
