JAMES O'NEILL CONDON of Colchester, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born on May 19, 1958, in New London, Connecticut, and became a resident of present town in 1993. Occupation: Executive Director, Vermont Assoc. of Broadcasters. He is married to Ginny McGehee and they have one son, Thomas. He was educated at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut (B.A., History, 1981). He is past president of the VT Associated Press Broadcasters Association and former Vermont AP Newscaster and Sportscaster of the Year. Member of the Association of Professional Genealogists and the Green Mountain Scrabble Club. Member of the House: 2005-2006, 2007-2008, 2009-2010. Home phone: 655-5764.     JOHN ZENIE    


JOHN ZENIE of Colchester, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born on June 18, 1947, in Brooklyn, New York. John spent 16 years singing in the boys and men’s choir at Grace Church Brooklyn Heights. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968. John graduated from New York University, New York, NY (B.S., 1974), and the University of Phoenix, Tucson, AZ (M.A., 1982). As an adjunct professor, John taught graduate and undergraduate Computer Science courses from 1984 until 1990. In 1990 he relocated to Colchester from Arizona to continue his career with IBM. After 30 years with IBM he retired and began working for agencies including VITA, AARP, and NeighborKeepers, as a volunteer financial counselor helping families and individuals in need. John served on the Colchester Planning Commission from 2002-2005 and the Colchester School District Cost Containment Committee 2003-2004. He is currently a member of the Colchester-Milton Rotary Club. He has served on the Houser Fish, Wildlife, and Water Resources Committee, the House Health Care Committee and the Vermont Citizens Advisory Committee on Lake Champlain.
