FRANK J. (GUYER) GEIER III
of South Burlington, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born January 24, 1942 in Windham, Conn. Educated in East Greenbush, NY elementary schools, graduating Christian Brothers Academy, Albany N.Y., 1961, BA St. Michaels College, 1965, MA University of Vermont, 1975. A Vermont Realtor, 1972 to present. Associated with Century 21 Jack Associates. He taught at Rock Point School, Champlain College and UVM’s, Continuning Education Program. Frank is presently employed by South Burlington School District as District Energy Manager and a school bus driver. Frank was a Peace Corps Volunteer, India 32. The recipient of the first Doc. Jacobs Award at St. Michaels College and Class President, He helped to found Vermont Special Olympics and was a volunteer for 35 years. He was the Games Director for the 1981 International Winter Special Olympic Games held in Stowe and Smugglers Notch. Frank while director of Burlington Ecumenical Action Ministry, BEAM, organized the first Leadership Chittenden. Other activities included being a director of Spectrum, Assistant-Director of the Way Station at the Sara Holbrock Center which transisitioned into COTS. He is presently a member of Orchard School’s, SLIMY, Sustainable Living Initiatives Motivating Youth, the South Burlington Citizen’s Budget Committee and the South Burlington Energy Committee. Frank is married to Peggy Merrill formerly from Killington Vermont. They have one child, Lindsay Geier a Fredrick H. Tuttle Middle School student. Frank’s mailing address is P.O.
