KESHA RAM of Burlington, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in Santa Monica, California, on August 2, 1986. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2008 (BS, Natural Resource Planning [cum laude]; BA, Political Science [magna cum laude]) and also completed a Public Law program at American University in 2006. Prior to entering the legislature, she served as the 2007-2008 UVM Student Government Association President, led the Policy Team for the Burlington Climate Action Plan, and taught preschool at Burlington Children’s Space. Her partner is Oliver LaFarge. CHITTENDEN-3-4 DAVID E. ZUCKERMAN DAVID ZUCKERMAN of Burlington, Chittenden County, Progressive, was born on August 16, 1971 in Boston, Massachusetts and became a resident in 1989. Co-Owner/Operator Full Moon Farm Inc. with wife Rachel Nevitt. FMF inc. is a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm with 300 summer and 150 winter shares. FMF also sells at local farmers markets. He was educated at UVM, Burlington, Vermont, BA Environmental Studies (1995), Minor in Chemistry. He and Rachel have one daughter, Addie, born in 2005. David has served on the Burlington Electric Light Commision (1995-1998), American Farm Bureau’s Young Farmer and Rancher Committee (2002-2004). He is also a member of the Chittenden County Farm Bureau, Northeast Organic Farming Association-VT., and Rural Vermont. He has served on the Burlington Progressive Party Steering Committee as well as being a member of the Ward 1 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA).
