JEFF WILSON
of Manchester, Bennington County, Democrat was born in Pittsfield, Ma. on February 10, 1955. He was raised in Williamstown, Massachusetts and has resided in Manchester since 1986. After twenty-six years of public service in state and local government, Jeff joined the Nashville & Eastern Railroad (NERR) and Nashville & Western Railroad (NWR) management team in 2003. He currently holds the position of Vice President for Administrative Services for NERR, and was elevated to NWR President in 2004. He serves on the Board of Directors for both Railroads and is part owner of NWR and Transit Solutions Group (a commuter rail operating company). Prior to moving to the private sector, Mr. Wilson was employed as Manchester’s Town Manager for seventeen years (1986 – 2003). He was educated at UMASS-Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Ma. (B.A Political Science, 1977) and Suffolk University, Boston, Ma. (Masters in Pubic Administration, 1981). He is married to Jacquelyne Wilson and they have three sons. Member of the House: 2009-2010.
