DONALD E. "DON" COLLINS
of Swanton, Franklin County, Democrat, was born in Lowell, Vermont, on November 11, 1942, and became a resident of Franklin County in 1983.
Occupation: Educator for 32 years; the final fourteen as the Superintendent of Schools for the Fairfax and Georgia School Districts. He currently
works for Vermont Partners Consulting, a family owned business that offers construction management services and conducts estate sales of antiques
and personal property, as well as operating two antiques shops. He was educated at Lowell Graded School; Newport Center High School; Johnson
State College-Bachelor's degree; University of Maine-Master's degree; University of Vermont-Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study. He is married to
Susan Lancaster Collins and they have two daughters, Stephanie and Kristina, and four grandchildren. Affiliations and Memberships: Vermont State
