SARAH R. EDWARDS
of Brattleboro, Windham County, Progressive, was born on January 31, 1953, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She became a resident of Vermont in 1974. Occupation: self employed, In the Balance Consulting. She was educated at Marlboro College (BS, Biology/Ecology/Ornithology, 1978); Antioch University (MS, Organization and Management, 1996); New Mexico Media Literacy Training, 2000; Vermont Leadership Institute, 2002. She is married to Blake Ross and they have two children. Organizations: over the past 25 years she has held municipal positions and has served on a wide variety of boards. Current: Brattleboro Area Hospice, Board of Directors; Brattleboro Climate Change Committee; Town Meeting Representative; National Conference of State Legislatures: High Level Nuclear Waste Working Group, Executive Committee; and, Agriculture, Environment and Energy Committee; Vermont State Nuclear Advisory Panel; State Director to Women's Legislative Lobby (WILL); Member of the House: 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008.
