TONY KLEIN
of East Montpelier, Washington County, Democrat, was born in Bronx, New York, on March 22, 1947, and became a resident of East Montpelier in 1986. He is retired from a marketing and public relations career. He was educated at Columbia Grammar Prep School and earned a B.A. in Government and Public Administration from the American University, Washington, D.C. in 1969. He is married to Jennifer Boyer, owner of Thistle Hill Pottery and a founding owner of the Artisan's Hand Craft Gallery in Montpelier. They have two grown children, Jesse and Tim. He is past chair of the East Montpelier Elementary School Board and past chair of the U-32 School Board of Directors. He is currently a member of the Vermont High School Field Hockey Officials Association. Member of the House: 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008. Home phone: 224-9097.
