AVIS L. GERVAIS of Enosburg, Franklin County, Democrat, was born in Enosburg, on September 5, 1933. Occupation: Retired store owner. She was educated at West Enosburg Elementary and Enosburg High School and attended Community College. She is married to Normand G. Gervais, and they have one daughter and three sons. She was the first woman elected an Enosburg Village Trustee and served for eight years; Town Lister, six years; Director of Franklin County Court Diversion; Director, Club Respite; Vice chair of the Enosburg Economic Development Board; Enosburg Historical Society; Modern Dozen Club; Director of Economic Development Council of Northern Vt., Inc.. She is EMT trained and LNA trained. Member of the House: 1997-98 (seated January 17, 1997), 1999-2000, 2001-2002, 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008. Home phone: 933-4794. Fax: 933-6690.
