        REGINALD R. GODIN

REGINALD R. GODIN of Milton, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in St. Albans on October 1, 1938 and has lived in Franklin and Chittenden Counties all his life. He grew up on the family farm in Sheldon which he operated for many years with his brothers after his parents died in 1960. He was educated in Vermont schools; earned his B.S. from UVM in 1962 and M.Ed from St. Michael's College in 1966. Reg recently retired after 44 years as an educator - a high school mathematics teacher, coach, athletic director, business manager, assistant principal and headmaster. He was the assistant principal at South Burlington High School for 17 years and Headmaster at Bellows Free Academy in St. Albans for 16 years. Reg and his wife, Mary Ann Duffy, have three sons and two daughters and are members of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Presently, he is vice-chair of the Milton Town School Board, Chair of the Board of Civil Authority, Justice of the Peace, co-chair of the BFA building committee, member of the Board of Directors for the St. Albans Museum and a 23-year member of the St. Albans rotary. He is a member of the Vermont Principals' Association and the National Association of Secondary School Principals where he served as a member of the Board of Directors from 1992 to 1996.     DONALD H. TURNER, JR.    


DONALD H. TURNER, JR. of Milton, Chittenden County, Republican, was born on July 19, 1964, in Burlington, Vermont and has been a lifelong member of Milton. He is married to Gail Turner and they have three daughters. Occupation: Real Estate Broker, Developer and Owner of Rental Properties. He was educated in the Milton Town School District, Milton, Vermont; Champlain College, Burlington, Vermont (A.S. 1984). He has actively served on the Milton fire department for twenty-four years and is currently serving as the Fire Chief and Forest Fire Warden since 2004. He also serves on the Milton Board of Civil Authority, is a Vermont certified fire instructor, Justice of the Peace, Notary Public and youth soccer coach. Organizations: Colchester-Milton Rotary Club, Milton Business Association, Milton Republican Committee, Vermont State Firefighters Association, International Association of Fire Chiefs, Milton Firefighters Association, Northwest Vermont Board of Realtors, Vermont Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. Member of the House 2006 (seated January 23, 2006) Human Services Committee, 2007-2008.
