DONALD E. BOSTIC of St. Johnsbury, Caledonia County, Republican, born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 8, 1937, became a resident of St. Johnsbury in 1979. He retired in 1997 as manager of J.C. Penney in St. Johnsbury. Don received his primary education in Columbus, Ohio, and his B.S. from Ohio State University in 1961. He is married to the former Ruth Evans and they have three sons, six grandchildren and one large dog. Don's past memberships include the Boy Scouts State Council, Catamount Film and Arts Center (Trustee), St. Johnsbury Athenaeum (Trustee, Past President), Past Trustee of the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and the Vermont Retail Association (Board Member). Presently, he serves on the St. Johnsbury Development Fund, the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club (past President), Trustee of Riverside School; Area Agency on Aging, board.
