ANNE H. MOOK of Bennington, Bennington County, Democrat, was born in Northampton, Massachusetts, on November 24, 1947. Occupations have included the fields of education, recreation, library development and community service. Educated in Westerly, Rhode Island, and graduated from the University of Hartford, Connecticut, 1970, B.S. in Education. Has lived in Bennington for the past 29 years. Married 10 years to Wesley L. Mook and we have a "merged" family of 2 sons and 1 daughter. Currently a Justice of the Peace and serves on the Board of Civil Authority. Organizations and agencies with whom has or has had a long standing affiliation include the Town of Bennington Parks & Recreation Department, Bennington Free Library, Green Mountain Chapter of American Red Cross, Antique Car Show, Girl Scouts of America, Bennington County Court Diversion, Spirit of Sharing, Mt. Anthony Lioness Club, Bennington-Catamount Rotary Club (Past President), Rotary International Youth Exchange Program. Member of the House: 2005-2006, 2007-2008. Home Phone: 802-442-5028. MARY A. MORRISSEY of Bennington, Republican, born in Bennington, Vermont, March 26, 1957. Educated in Bennington, continued higher education in the Bennington area. Presently serving, sixth term as a State Representative and eighth term as a Justice of the Peace. Board of Director for: American Red Cross (since 1987); Hospice of Bennington County (since 1999); Bennington Project Independence (since 2003); Vermont State Girl Scout Council (since 2002); Oak Hill Child Care Center (since 2004); Bennington County Restorative Justice (since 2003); Homeless Shelter (since 2004); Bennington Relay For Life (since 1998); Spirit of Sharing; (since 1983).
