HULL P. MAYNARD JR. of Shrewsbury, Rutland County, Republican, was born in Hartford, Connecticut, on August 8, 1934, and became a resident of present town on December 1, 1962. Occupation: independent insurance agent. He was educated in elementary schools in Windsor, Connecticut; Loomis-Chaffee School, Windsor, Connecticut; Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont and attended the University of Connecticut Law School. He is married to the former Joanna Taft, and they have two daughters, Jill and Sarah, and two sons, Hull III and Todd. Member of: National Federation of Independent Business (past member of the Guardian Council); Shrewsbury justice of the peace; Rutland Chamber, Legislative Issues Committee; former Shrewsbury overseer of the poor, civil defense chair, and planning commission member; Rutland Rotary, past president; Independent Insurance Agents of Vermont, past president; Rutland Mental Health, past president and board member. KEVIN J. MULLIN of Rutland Town, Rutland County, Republican, was born in Rutland, Vermont, on November 19, 1958. Occupation: Owner of Vermont Roots, a distributor of Vermont-made specialty products/part-time instructor at Community College of Vermont. He was educated at Rutland High School, Rutland, Vermont and Castleton State College, Castleton, Vermont (B.S., Business, Finance Major). He and his wife Cynthia have two children, Brett and Bartley. WENDY L. WILTON of Rutland City, Rutland County, Republican, is a native Vermonter-born in Burlington January 30, 1959 and raised in South Burlington. Wendy has been a business advisor for the Vermont Small Business Development Center since 1996. Prior to that she was a small business and mortgage loan officer in the Rutland area and worked in manufacturing industries in Vermont for seven years, after completing her degree in Chemistry from University of Vermont, 1981. Wendy is married to Charles "Chuck" Wilton, and resides in Rutland City with her husband and their two teenage children. Wendy previously served the citizens of Rutland County as a member of the Rutland Regional Planning Commission, Rutland City Board of Alderman (one term elected, one term appointed), Rutland Redevelopment Authority, Rutland West Neighborhood Housing, and Crossroads Arts Council. She is currently active in Rutland Region Chamber events and is a member of the renovated Paramount Theatre in Rutland. She and her family are members of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where she sings in the choir and teaches religious education to teens. Member of the Senate: 2005-2006.
