CLINTON G. MARTIN of Springfield, Windsor County, Democrat, was born in Brooklyn, New York, on May 11, 1939, and became a resident of present town in 1974. Occupation: retired as Director of Parks and Recreation of Springfield in 2001. He was educated at St. Bonaventure University, New York, New York (B.A., 1960); New York University, New York City, New York (M.A., 1968). He is married to Cynthia (Taylor) Martin and they have one daughter and three sons. Memberships and affiliations: President of Three River Valley Business/Education Partnership; Member, Springfield Prevention Coalition; Past President of VT Basketball Official Association; (IAAB Bd. #105); Lic. Auctioneer in State of Vermont; Member of Certified Appraisers Guild of America; past president Precision Valley Development Corp.; Past president of Windsor County Agricultural Fair; past president of Vermont Beef Producers Association.
