SANDY HAAS of Rochester, Windsor County, Progressive, was born on May 8, 1946, in Orange, California, and became a resident of present town in 1980. Occupation: self-employed in two home businesses: as a lawyer in private practice and as an innkeeper, The New Homestead Bed & Breakfast. She was educated at the University of California, Berkeley, California, B.A., 1968; Boalt Hall, University of California, Berkeley, California, J.D., 1974. Her partner's name is David Marmor.
