TONY KLEIN of East Montpelier, Washington County, Democrat, was born in New York City, New York, on March 22, 1947, and became a resident of present town in 1986. Occupation: Klein and Associates - Public Relations, Marketing, Government and Business Relations. He was educated at The American University, Washington, D.C. (B.A., 1969). He is married to Jennifer F. Boyer, owner of Thistle Hill Pottery and a founding member of The Artisan's Hand Craft Gallery. They have two grown children, Jesse and Tim. He is past chair of the East Montpelier Elementary School Board and past chair of the U-32 School Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Vermont Council on Humanities and the Board of Directors for Central Vermont Community Capital. Member of the House: 2003-2004, 2005-2006.
