KEVIN J. ENDRES of Milton, Chittenden County, Republican, was born in Williston Park, New York on June 15, 1949 and has lived in Milton for over 27 years. Kevin taught English at Milton and Essex Junction High Schools in the 1970's. He was founder of Mountain Transit, Inc., was CEO until its sale in December 1998, and is currently a consulting manager. He graduated from Iona College in 1970 (BA, English) and from the University of Vermont in 1974 (MA, English). Kevin was founder and is President-emeritus of the Vermont School Transportation Association (VSTA). Kevin recently married Stacey Cook and has two boys. He currently serves on the Milton Board of Civil Authority and is a Justice of the Peace. He also serves on the Board of Howard Human Services (Baird School and Champlain Drug and Alcohol Committees), the Board of the Milton Family Community Center and is a member of the Colchester-Milton Rotary. Past memberships include the Department of Corrections Chittenden County Reparative Board, the St. Michael's College Liturgy Committee, the Milton School Board (Chair), the Milton Long Range Access and Mobility Committee (Vice Chair), the Chittenden Bank Advisory Board, the UVM-Vermont Council and the Chittenden County Transit Technical Committee.
