of South Burlington, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in Griffin, Georgia on May 12, 1953, and became a resident of present
town in 1992. Occupation: Planning and Development Consultant. She was educated at the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New
Hampshire (B.A., 1975) and the University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont (Master of Public Administration, 1989). She is married
to Thomas Mercurio and they have one daughter and one son. Organizations: Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School and South Burlington
High School, parent volunteer; Partners for Equitable Schools, committee member; South Burlington Community Library and Vermont
Ecumenical Council, Trustee; Governor's Commission on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders, delegate from the House. Member of
