CHITTENDEN-2 MARY PETERSON MARY PETERSON of Williston, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born in Buffalo, New York, on April 3, 1960, and became a resident of Williston in 1994. She was educated at St. Lawrence University, Canton, New York (B.A. in Government, summa cum laude, 1982) and Northeastern University School of Law (JD, 1985). She is married to Barrett Peterson and they have two daughters and two sons. Member of: Williston Selectboard (Chair, 2001-2003). Former member: Vermont League of Cities and Towns, Board of Directors; Williston Planning Commission; Williston Conservation Commission; Colchester Planning Commission.
