SCOTT A. ORR
of Charlotte, Chittenden County, Democrat, was born on September 28, 1969, in Burlington, Vermont and has been a lifelong resident,
third-generation. He was educated at Charlotte Central School 1974-83; Champlain Valley Union High 1983-87, Bachelors of Science
in Communications from Castleton State College 1994. Occupation: Human Services, formerly with Howard Community Services;
Northeastern Family Institute; Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties; and Rutland Dismas House. Also a
U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia, Africa 1997-98. Memberships/Affiliations: Charlotte Volunteer Rescue Squad, past Executive
Committee officer; Green Mountain Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, Steering Committee member; volunteer with Vermont Refugee
Resettlement Program; former member Chittenden County Court Diversion Review Board; former volunteer with Vermont Legal Aid
Ombudsman program; former volunteer-coordinator for Chittenden County Probation and Parole community service placements. Member
