DONALD E. BOSTIC of St. Johnsbury, Caledonia County, Republican, born in Columbus, Ohio, on April 8, 1937, became a resident of St. Johnsbury in 1979. He retired in 1997 as manager of J.C. Penney in St. Johnsbury. Don received his primary education in Columbus, Ohio, and his B.S. from Ohio State University in 1961. He is married to the former Ruth Evans and they have three sons, five grandchildren and one large dog. Don's past memberships include the Boy Scouts State Council, Catamount Film and Arts Center (Trustee), St. Johnsbury Athenaeum (Trustee, Past President), Past Trustee of the Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and the Vermont Retail Association (Board Member). Presently, he serves on the St. Johnsbury Development Fund, the St. Johnsbury Rotary Club (past President), Trustee of Riverside School; Area Agency on Aging, board. CALEDONIA-3 DAVID T. CLARK DAVID T. CLARK of St. Johnsbury, Caledonia County, Republican, was born in Kennebunk, Maine, on May 13, 1922, and has been a resident of present town since September, 1960. Occupation: St. Johnsbury town manager (retired 1996). He was educated at elementary and high schools in Kennebunk, Maine; University of Maine, Orono, Maine (B.A., 1949); New York University, New York, New York (M.P.A., 1951). He is married to the former Joan Bulkeley, and they have two daughters and three sons. Member of: St Johnsbury Rotary Club; Passumpsic Bank, corporator; VFW; Vermont Town and City Manager's Association. He served three years in the infantry in WW II and received an honorable discharge. As town manager in St Johnsbury for thirty-six years, he served on many boards and committees. Religious preference: Protestant.
