JUDITH M. LIVINGSTON
of Manchester, Bennington County, Republican, was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, lived in Kailua, Hawaii; Darien, Connecticut;
and Washington, D.C. She became a resident of Manchester in 1972. Occupation: Graphics Designer. She was educated at Darien
High School, Darien, Connecticut; University of Connecticut, Storrs, Connecticut; National Art Academy and Corcoran Art School,
Washington, D.C.; and Harvard Graduate School of Design, Cambridge, Massachusetts. She has a daughter and a son. She serves on
the following community boards: Bank of Bennington; Dorset Theatre Festival; Northshire Civic Center/Riley Rink; Burr and Burton
Academy; Ballet Manchester; Manchester Village Design Review; and is Trustee Emerita and former Chairman of Hildene. In the
Legislature she served for six years on the House Judiciary Committee; two years as Vice Chair of House Ways and Means; and two
years on the Appropriations Committee. State Boards include: Friends of the Statehouse and Vermont Film Commission. She also works
on the following special House committees: Co-Chairman of the House Information Technology Committee; Republican Member-at-Large of
House Rules; Statehouse Expansion Technical Advisory; Council on Higher Education Funding; and No Child Left Behind Advisory.
